A defined alternative to
burnout, sale, or status quo.
Asset Grouper runs the operating spine of your business for a fixed percentage of revenue — so you can step back without selling, and without building a full executive team.

Oversight
Asset Grouper reviews, reports, and advises. You or your in-house team executes. Best when you have capable operators but need institutional rigor around them.
Co-Management
Asset Grouper co-runs day-to-day operations with your team. We own cadence. Your team owns execution. We cover the gaps — including the ones that always fall to the owner.
Full Operating
Asset Grouper runs the business operationally. You retain ownership and strategic control. We report monthly; we execute daily.
Important: what this is not.
Portfolio Management is notan investment-management service. We do not manage securities, we are not registered investment advisers, we do not provide investment advice, and we do not hold investment-advisory licenses. “Portfolio” in our name refers to our portfolio of operating engagements — not a securities portfolio.
Every engagement also excludes: equity or ownership positions, officer titles or fiduciary positions, named board seats (unless specifically scoped), and legal / tax / accounting / investment-advisory services. These exclusions are written into every engagement agreement.
24-month minimum engagement. Minimum annual fee floor applies. Texas jurisdiction, Travis County venue. Full minimums and terms published in the engagement agreement.
We hired Asset Grouper instead of a COO. Twelve months in, the operation runs without me — and we haven't sold the business.
Frequently asked
Why percentage of revenue, not a flat fee?
It aligns our incentives with yours. When your business grows, we're paid more; when it shrinks, we're paid less. The 24-month minimum and annual fee floor protect both sides from the extremes.Does this count as investment management or financial advisory?
No. We manage business operations, not investments. We are not registered investment advisers and do not provide investment-advisory services. The name refers to our portfolio of operating engagements. What if my revenue drops significantly?
The minimum annual fee protects Asset Grouper's delivery capacity. The percentage structure protects you on the upside. We do an annual true-up with workload review; material shifts trigger a scope conversation. Can I exit early?
There's a defined termination-for-cause process in the engagement agreement. Clean-exit transitions are available at standard notice periods with reasonable wind-down fees. What kinds of businesses fit best?
Operationally complex, owner-operated, $500K–$10M revenue. Construction, multi-unit services, fleet and transportation, specialty distribution, light manufacturing. If you're a solo consultant, this isn't your best fit.Do you take equity instead of fees?
No. Our standard engagement is fee-for-service. We don't take ownership positions in clients. What happens if you decide we're not a fit?
At the end of the Assessment, we tell you honestly. You keep the diagnosis. We'll refer you to firms or advisors who are a better fit if we know one.Who will actually be on my engagement?
You'll meet the named engagement lead at your Assessment. They'll stay with you for the life of the engagement. Specialist support rotates in by pillar as needed; your engagement lead is constant.
